Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist
Pierre is a co-founder of GH Ability and a compassionate Specialist Orthotist and Prosthetist. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma at age 11 and undergoing an amputation at 21, Pierre’s personal journey gives him a unique insight into his patients’ challenges. He is passionate about helping amputees navigate their rehabilitation journey with expertise and empathy.
Serishni Govender
Physiotherapist
Serishni Govender is a highly skilled physiotherapist specializing in rehabilitation and physical therapy solutions.Serishni Govender started her professional career as Qualitfied Exercise Scientist.She then went onto further her education in Physiotherapy and post graduate studies into Orthopedic manipulation and M.A.S.E therapy for peadiatrics.
She has a passion for helping patients achieve their highest level of function. Serishni Govender uses her keen assessment skills together with advanced therapeutic techniques and a patient-centered approach to help individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and optimize physical performance.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development, Serishni Govender integrates evidence-based practices and innovative methods to ensure patients achieve their health and wellness goals. Compassionate and approachable, she empowers patients to regain confidence and independence through movement and recovery.

While obtaining her Honors degree in Psychology, and unfortunately encountering challenges in securing admission to a Master’s program, her unwavering passion for assisting individuals persisted.
This fervor led her towards alternative paths. Presently, as a valued member of G & H Ability, Chane applies her profound understanding of psychology to address the complex emotional and psychological aspects associated with amputation. Her role enables her to utilize her academic background to provide invaluable support to individuals navigating trauma and psychological hurdles, exemplifying her enduring dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Waseela Dadabhay
Physiotherapist
Waseela is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a passion for improving the quality of life of her patients. With many years in practice, her special interests lie with acute and chronic pain management and female pelvic health, including pre- and post-natal physiotherapy and pelvic floor dysfunctions. Whether recovering from surgery, managing a respiratory disorder, rehabilitation after a neuromusculoskeletal injury or orthopaedic condition, she is committed to guiding you through your healing journey. Her holistic approach combines evidence-based assessment and treatment within an integrative biopsychosocial framework, ensuring personalised and compassionate care tailored to your needs.
